What is Personal Style?

Everyone posses their own unique and individual style. Personal Style is the expression of your personality through your visual appearance. It’s also your own interpretation of fashion and how you like to wear clothes.

What is a Personal Stylist?

What is a Personal Stylist/ Image Consultant/ Wardrobe Consultant?
A Personal Stylist is someone who advises clients on how to wear fashion trends, clothing styles, colours and make-up. Give feedback on the overall Image they’re projecting and help them develop a new Image. A personal stylist can also review someone’s current wardrobe to determine what should be discarded or purchased, co-ordinate outfits and organises closet space.

Who would be a typical client?

It could be someone who:

★ Is looking for employment, or a promotion
★ Has had a dramatic weight loss or gain and need help dressing your new body
★ Has a special occasion to attend and need to make a good impression.
★ Doesn’t have the time to shop and hate shopping malls
★ Lacks fashion inspiration and need to get out their style rut
★ Simply wants to boost their self-image and self-confidence

I need help with my hair and make-up, will you provide me with hair and make-up advice?

During the Style Assessment we will talk about your hair and I’ll recommend cut, colour and style. We’ll also provide make-up application and colouring advice. We’ll refer you to a professional hairstylist to ensure you are working with someone that specialises in those areas. If you would like us to accompany you on a hair appointment, we will do that for an additional fee.

I want to give your service as a gift, will the recipient get offended?

Absolutely not. In my experience, clients who have received our services as a gift are excited about having an expert to help them refresh their look. They often rave about how much fun it is to see what someone else would pick out for them, to try on things they wouldn’t have otherwise picked out, and feel relieved of the stress often accompanied with shopping and putting their wardrobe together on their own.

What stores do you shop at?

We select the stores based on what each person needs in terms of body, budget and lifestyle and occasion. If you have a specific store(s) you would prefer us to shop, please let us know.

My friend and I would like to do this together, can we have joint appointments?

Yes! Just let us know when you want schedule your appointment. It’s a fun way to discover or redefine your style with a friend or family member.

What is your cancellation policy?

A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged for consultations cancelled with less than 24hrs notice. If you need to cancel an appointment, please call us directly on 073 392 7180. Cancellations are accepted 24 hours or more prior to your scheduled appointment.

What is your return policy?

Gift certificates can be transferred or exchanged for other services. They are not redeemable for cash. No refunds on pre-purchased services or packages.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We prefer cash or EFT payments.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Availability is constantly fluctuating, but it is best to plan at least two weeks in advance.

What are your fees?

Fees are subject to the time, travel and specific needs of the event. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

How long is a presentation?

The length of the presentations are based on the client’s needs and budget. They can run anywhere from a half hour to two hours long.

Do you work with non-profits?

Yes, I love giving back in any way I can so I’ve created a special fee for non-profits.

Do you offer one-on-one services for our employees?

Yes, we give group pricing on all our services for three employees or more. We can add any individualised services into your quote.
