I had the best time styling Petro (Lollie) De Manielle, winner of the Eikestad Mall’s Mother’s Day competition, helping her to update her current style and enhance her natural beauty…
Lollie describes her style as comfortable and casual with very little colour. She recently lost 35 kg’s and needed advice on how to dress for her new body shape.
My goal was to show Lollie how to dress slimmer and look younger, as well as help her get key wardrobe items focusing on the basics for a casual – smart casual and formal look.
The colours I chose were all in cool tones, including the wardrobe, hair and makeup to compliment her skin’s undertone.
We bought 10 items:
1. White fitted blouse
2. Black pencil skirt
3. Grey leopard print top
4. Taupe long sleeve vest
5. Black belt
6. Burgundy scarf
7. Pale pink chunky cardigan
8. Burgundy skinny denim
9. Black ankle boot
10. Burgundy kitten heel pumps
And created 3 looks from these wardrobe items.
Watch my interview with Lollie and see her style transformation in the video.
